Benefits to the End-User

Enhanced Interview Statistics: Interview statistics in Oracle Policy Automation (OPA) hub have been enhanced to see trends at a glance of the usage rates of each deployed interview.

deploymentsa) The 30 Day Trend on the Deployments home screen compares the number of sessions started in the last 30 days (between now and 30 days ago) against the number of sessions started in the previous 30 days (between 30 days ago and 60 days ago). The difference is expressed as a ratio of how many more or less sessions have been used in the last 30 days than the previous 30 days.

b) Dashboard charts are shown for deployments so that you can quickly see relevant usage information.

c) On the Deployments home screen, three charts show site statistics. By default, these charts are:deployment 2

  • Interview Sessions
  • Active Agents
  • Web Service Sessions

You can click on any of these charts (either on the Deployment Home screen or Deployment Details screen) to configure the data displayed (e.g. change the chart type or customize your own chart), or to download usage data for offline analysis.

Tailor multi-channel interviews to different audiences: multi-channel interviews can now be customised for the different oracle service cloud user types ( Agent, Contact and Anonymous).

  • By defining interview specific behavior for each audience, you can:
    • Show or hide different information on welcome or summary screens
    • Generate forms just for customers
    • Provide links to further information or training for agents.

Benefits to Developers

Notification in Debugger when project has changed: The Debugger now notifies the user if the project has changed since the debug session started. Users can click the Apply button in the notifications to apply the changed and retain the session data.

  • Enhanced relationship handling: Entity functions have been enhanced to enable Policy Automation to be integrated with a wider variety of applications, without customised connector development. These changes allow you to now:
    • Separate input and output entities in order to create data models that match the connected application’s scheme
    • Make decisions and calculations based on data shared across relationships
    • Model Policy or calculations that rely on inductive logic
  • RuleScript: Uses industry –standard JavaScript to extend what is possible with OPA rules. These scripts are typically implemented by partners or IT specialists and incorporated into an existing or new OPA project as a separate type of asset.

  • Temporal Values supported in test cases: Temporal values are now supported as input and expected outcome values. Test case execution will populate temporal values when they occur as outputs.
